Permanent eyebrow makeup is a tattoo. Any time pigment is implanted into the dermal layer of the skin, it is considered permanent. The rate at which a Cosmetic Tattoo fades varies from person to person and depends on factors such as skin type, sun exposure, skincare products, lifestyle, immune response, and the color implanted. While the color will soften significantly over the years, the pigment itself remains in the skin. It is important to understand that Permanent Makeup is NOT considered semi-permanent. Although the appearance will fade and lighten over time, traces of the tattoo will always remain. For this reason, clients should view Permanent Makeup as a long-term commitment and choose an experienced artist whose work they trust.

It would be unethical for me to tell you that Permanent Eyebrow Makeup is completely pain-free because everyone’s pain tolerance and sensitivity are different. What I can tell you is that most clients are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the procedure feels. In fact, many of my clients become so relaxed during their appointment that they actually fall asleep. Your comfort is a top priority throughout the entire procedure. I use two different topical anesthetics and continue reapplying them throughout the appointment to help keep you comfortable. Most clients find that they become less sensitive as the procedure progresses, not more.
